Developmental editing

Extra support to identify and fix both language and structural weaknesses in documents. For developmental editing we will consider all elements of a document and work to ensure everything consistent, clear, and or publication-ready quality. Turnaround time will vary depending on the scope of the project but owing to the need for multiple rounds of editing 1 month is typical. Editors will go beyond our standard copy editing service to help address issues such as:

• • Manuscript formatting issues

• • Word count considerations

• Changes according to reviewer comments

Editing guarantee

• • If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our editing we will work with you on your documents until you are happy with the results.

• • If legitimate and specific concerns about the language of a document are raised by journal staff or peer reviewers, we will reedit your documents to address any such concerns at no additional charge.

• • If any changes are made to a document after our editing (and review editing), we will reedit your documents at a 30% discount on the previous rate.

• Please note that our editing will likely improve the chances that a manuscript will be considered for publication by staff at the target journal; however, we cannot guarantee consideration and/or final acceptance of any manuscript edited by Nano Pico Science at standard or developmental levels.
